We are hiring: Junior Cost Accountant. Our client within Groblersdal (Limpopo) within the Agricultural sector, is seeking a Junior Cost Accountant. If you are passionate about numbers and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you!
Minimum Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification – Accounting (B.com/Diploma)
  • AT least 3 years in a similar position.
  • MS Office
  • SAGE or similar experience would be beneficial

Daily Tasks
  • Prepare and present highlighting cost variances and recommending necessary actions.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Identify areas of potential cost improvement and work closely with the operations team to implement efficiency measures.
  • Stay updated with industry trend regulations, and best practices in cost accounting
  • Balancing of tonnages, dispatches vs. invoiced at month-end.
  • Assist with planning, compiling and finalising of stock counts.
  • Ensuring stock costings are done correctly and in line with daily manufacturing.
