Our client, a well-established, family-owned shooting sports retailer based in Centurion, is looking for Junior Sales Consultants!
This role is designed as a practical evaluation and development opportunity. Top performers may be offered a long-term employment contract.
This position is an in-store, customer-facing retail sales role, suited to motivated individuals who want to grow in a structured sales environment.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • Matric certificate.
  • Basic computer literacy (e-mail, Word, Excel ect).
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Comfortable engaging with customers face-to-face and telephonically.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Must have, or must be able and willing to obtain, a competency certificate to trade in firearms and ammunition.
Experience Required
  • Possess high court litigation experience.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and own transport.
  • Previous experience in managing his or her own department would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in managing of junior personnel would be an advantage.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio independently.
Skills Required
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Dynamic individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to forge and maintain excellent inter-personal relationships.
  • Willing to work over-time if operational requirements so require.
  • Proficient in Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
