Our well-known client within the Agricultural sector within Bloemfontein, is seeking a Safety Officer to support their dynamic team!
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate of equivalent to NQF4.
- SAMTRAC or NBOSH certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Safety Officer (Preferred 4 years’ experience).
- Valid RSA driver’s license with own reliable transport.
- Qualified accident and incident investigator will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessment and propose preventative measures.
- Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
- Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
- Maintains awareness of active and developing situations.
- Ensure preparation and implementation of Safety and Health plan.
- Stand-by afterhours as and when required.
